Possession of false ID is a crime.

It can be charged as a misdemeanor, or if you have a duplicate driver’s license from another jurisdiction you can be charged with a felony.

Since ‘911’ police agencies have a standard policy to arrest anyone with false or fake ID. After all you could be a terrorist. Right…

Using I.D. that belongs to another is possession of false I.D. Altered I.D. is false I.D.
