Self Defense

The Defendant, must have reasonably believed that his conduct was necessary to defend himself or another, against the imminent use of unlawful force by another person

And:

1. The use of unlawful force by the other person must have appeared to the defendant to be ready to take place.
2. The defendant did not create the situation which necessitated his use of force to defend himself or another.
