Under the confrontation clause of the United States Constitution you have a right to know the names of your accusers.

As part of your discovery package the prosecutor will reveal to you the names of the witnesses the state intends to bring to testify at trial. States must also provide you with copies of their statements, and some states allow you to ask them questions by deposition.
